The Office of External Resources reports to the
Executive Director for Institutional Investigation,
Planning and Development. Its staff is composed of a
director, three specialists in external resources
and two accountants who work on the administration
of funds awarded. The director is the University
official responsible for the development and
implementation of policies and procedures regarding
federally funded projects. Administrative and
accounting support is provided to faculty members,
graduate students, and professional staff to seek
outside funding for research projects, training
grants, and other proposal development activities.
The ORE also serves as liaison between the
University and external sources such as Federal and
State agencies, and other entities that fund
nonprofit institutions.
The ORE is the University’s point of contact for all
proposal activities and it must be notified of the
intention to write a proposal by filing the “Letter
of Intention”. |
